Denver - East Colfax

Is East Colfax a Good Place to Live:

Location and Getting Around: Bordered by Quebec to the west, Yosemite to the east, Montview to the north, and 11th the south. Colfax (15th Ave) is the main road that runs straight though the neighborhood to downtown. Listings promote easier access along other streets including 13th and 17th.

Housing Options: 210 residences sold in 2021. 188 of them were houses. There are a few townhome/duplex type options on the lower end of the price range in the neighborhood. A few affordable housing options exist as well.

Shopping and Entertainment: While Colfax has its fair share of eclectic retail and restaurants, most listings promote the neighborhood’s proximity to other shopping areas such as Lowry Town Center, Central Park and Stanley Marketplace, The Shops at Northfield, and even Cherry Creek or downtown.

Parks and Rec: McNichols Park and Verbena Park both lie within East Colfax borders, though larger, more amenity-rich parks are found just north in Central Park or just south in Lowry.

Land Use: Other than business uses along the busy Colfax, the East Colfax neighborhood is dominated by single family homes.
